When a dental practice is in-network with your insurance plan, it means the office has agreed to a set of negotiated fees with your insurance company. As an in-network provider, Lakeside Dental Care works directly with your plan to help reduce your out-of-pocket costs and maximize the benefits available to you. Patients who visit an in-network dentist often pay less per visit because the pre-negotiated rates limit what the office can charge for covered services.

Visiting an Out-of-Network Provider

Seeing an out-of-network dentist means the office does not have a contracted rate with your insurance company. Your insurance plan may still cover a portion of the cost, but the reimbursement amount is typically lower, and you may be responsible for a larger share of the total fee. If you have an out-of-network plan and choose to visit Lakeside Dental Care, our team will still file your claim on your behalf and work with you to understand your estimated costs before treatment begins.

How We Handle Your Insurance Claims

Whether you are in-network or out-of-network, Lakeside Dental Care is glad to file your dental insurance claims for you as a courtesy. We will submit claims promptly and follow up as needed to help ensure your benefits are applied correctly. Please note: Payment is due at the time of service.

As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost is your responsibility.
